Purification and Analysis Laboratory

The SCB core has a robust analysis and purification infrastructure for purification and quality control of compounds.

The laboratory utilizes automated mass directed fractionation for purification in both reversed and normal phases (including chiral separations), and also provides relative purity analysis by UPLC coupled to a high-resolution mass spectrometer for structure confirmation.

In addition the core can isolate compounds from complex biological samples.

Key Equipment:

  • High-throughput analytical-scale RP HPLC/photodiode array UV/HRMS system
  • High-throughput mass-directed preparative-scale RPHPLC/dual-wavelength UV/LRMS/ELSD system
  • Chiral Analytical and Preparative LC/UV capabilities
  • Tecan Evo 200 liquid handler set up for compound dissolution, weighing, fraction pooling, and processing of samples
